- Deputising for the Risk Manager on all contractual issues.
- Co-ordination of all contract documents activities within the Consortium and with Subcontractors.
- Management and administration of all Subcontracts and other agreements under the Contract.
- Scrutinising customer requests for Contractual/changes order implications
- Manage and control contract variations, to participate and negotiation with the Customer for contract amendments.
- Assisting the Risk Manager in drafting of periodic report to senior Management and/or Consortium Management.
- Contractual review of all incoming and outgoing communications with the Employer, Partners and Sub-Contractors.
- Redirecting correspondence to others for action or information as required, ensuring that all correspondence from the Customer and Partners is answered in a proper and timely manner.
- To maintain the project open items log.
- Managing documents/record in readiness for potential claim management.
- Interpretation of the Contract and seeking internal legal council as required.
- Identification and management of contractually related risks in accordance with the Project Management process.
- To maintain the project Claim Register and Claim Files.
- Co-ordinate with the Document Control Manager for the preparation and submission of Monthly Progress Reports to the Employer.
- To attend project reviews to report on contractual issues.
- Management of the document control function for the project.
